CyberD (UK) has been at the cutting edge of public Internet kiosk technology since 1998. Our
kiosks and software are perfect for public Internet access, point of sale displays,
information points and computer access in harsh environments such as factory floors.
CyberD(UK) combines excellence in hardware design and software development. The symbiosis of
these two divisions means you are assured the best in products and services within the kiosk
and Internet market place.
Without software, the kiosk is just a "box." The most expensive computer can do nothing without the appropriate software. CyberD has produced a range of kiosk and secure browsers available off the shelf. By virtue of our component based development model, CyberD can easily tailor new or existing systems to suit your requirements.
Simple Surf 2 is the latest in kiosk software solutions designed to suit all situations. It has a familiar looking user interface and has facilities to make it more suited for users with disabilities, and is used by international banking corporations, health authorities and government bodies to provide complete kiosk base information systems. It offers complete secure browsing in public areas.
Simple Surf 2 is fully customizable from adjusting the overall layout of the screen to presenting a custom advertising screen in credit operation. Simple Surf 2 has support for white lists or open mode, it supports blacklists and html stream scanning, allowed file types and banned word filtering.
Simple Surf 2 has keyboard security from offering an on screen keyboard to filtering key press combinations (such as CTRL+ALT+DEL) in windows before they can cause any problem in Simple Surf 2. These security measures are removed when Simple Surf 2 exits, leaving a totally untouched operating system with no additional accounts.
Simple Surf 2will run straight from installation and has two configuration modes. There is a configuration wizard to guide you through adding additional options and will show you how the changes will look and a control mode for more technical users. Simple Surf 2 holds its configuration in a XML file and this file can be located on a shared drive or produced off site and simply copied to many kiosks.
Simple Surf 2 is a tabbed browser and any popup windows are opened in a new tab, this is secure from the user while still allowing the window to be visible if required. Also eliminating the need for a popup window killer. spyware is avoided as this targets specific browsers and would not be able to run in Simple Surf 2.
Simple Café is the latest in cyber café software solutions designed to suit all situations. Simple Café is a complete content filter, security system preventing access to the operating system and coin controlled environment.
Simple Café can be used with Simple Surf 2 to act as content filtering for open access systems or in the home or office to control your users access to the internet.
Watch Dog 2 ensures your kiosk up time and reduces your carbon footprint. With Watch Dog 2 the kiosk can be set to only run on certain days and will automatically turn off the PC when your service or premises are closed without user intervention.
Watch Dog 2 can be set to launch any application as Windows® starts and monitor its performance, should the application stop responding or close for any reason it is automatically cleared from memory and restarted. Watch Dog 2 is the perfect partner to Simple Surf 2 for all kiosk operators.
After several years of kiosk application design, CyberD(UK) understands that every kiosk
application is different. We have now developed a modular system of software and hardware
components that meet all kiosk applications. What this mean for you is that the application development is client led and not dictated to by a ''standard browser system.''
This is a modular system of software and hardware components that meet all kiosk applications.
This means that the application development is client led and not dictated to by a standard
browser system. It offers the latest CyberD software technology bundled in a "pick-and-mix" package for bespoke kiosk and public use systems.

SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
Established in 1996, PROVISIO GmbH, the name stands for "Visions." They received their first major order from electronics giant MEDIA MARKT early in 1997. At that time, PROVISIO developed multi-media applications based on Microsoft's Internet Explorer (Version 3), which was capable of showing some basic information about the hardware components of a PC. Using the application on the company's public display terminals, customers learned more about the different components of the computers, and shortly afterwards, PROVISIO completed a similar project for the electronics chain SATURN.
In addition to providing multi-media functionality, the application to be installed on the terminals also had to prevent customers from tampering with the machines' underlying operating system. To provide this necessary security, PROVISIO developed a first version of a kiosk software application. This first prototype became the base for the development of SiteKiosk™, which was released for the first time in 1998. Due to the product's large national and international success, PROVISIO decided in mid-1999 to further develop SiteKiosk™ in cooperation with a steady team of developers. In addition, PROVISIO abandoned all other business segments such as the development of Web sites and other multi-media applications.
Our offices are in two worldwide locations, PROVISIO LLC. located in Chicago, Illinois USA, and PROVISIO GmbH located in Münster, Germany.
More about PROVISIO:
In March 2000, the SiteKiosk™ Development Team moved into a modern office complex in Münster with more than 350 square meters of office space. PROVISIO founded PROVISIO, LLC, in July of 2002 as the company's branch in Miami, FL USA.
Construction of the new headquarters of PROVISIO GmbH in Chicago Illinois has now started. The internationally operating software developer will also create new jobs at its new location. Starting in January 2008, a new beautifully designed building in Muenster’s Austermannstraße will provide office space for the 25 employees. PROVISIO is investing approx. 2 M Euros in its new company headquarters, which will sit on an impressive property of 4,100 sqm.
In 2003, SiteKiosk™ received awards as "Software Design Excellence" and "Most Innovative/Creative Software 2003." With more than 50,000 copies installed on computers world-wide, SiteKiosk™ ranks among the most commonly employed "Public Access Terminal Software" products. PROVISIO currently has a team of 14 employees in Germany and the United States. SiteKiosk's popularity and reputation among the premier companies in the world is reflected by their client list. (PROVISIO Contacts)

SiteCafe 1.1
In addition to minor bug fixes, we fully incorporated the following languages into
SiteCafe: English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, and Turkish.
While you can download and use SiteCafe for free, you will need to obtain a SiteKiosk Payment
Bundle for each of your client machines. The application ships with a database and also comes with a SiteCafe Manager, a tool for managing remaining credit, user accounts, and prepaid PIN codes and for remotely unlocking and controlling computer workstations from one central location.
SiteRemote™ is a client-server solution for monitoring and remote controlling Internet kiosks/networks run by SiteKiosk™. By using SiteRemote's Web application (requires Microsoft Internet Explorer), you can view and manage your Internet kiosks from any computer. In addition to providing current information about the terminal status, the terminal load, and the sales turned over by the terminal, the Web application also allows you to view the hardware and software configuration of your SiteKiosk™ machines.
A flexible and comprehensive job editor lets you perform installations or other maintenance on a group of kiosks simultaneously (e.g. file transfers, script executions, and computer reboots). Use the Terminal Commander application to directly exchange files between your local computer and any remote Internet terminal.
Transferring new configurations and files to several hundred terminals at the same time will only take a few mouse clicks. Thanks to its client-server architecture SiteRemote™ makes it possible for you to access the different clients even if they have been assigned an IP address dynamically and/or if they operate behind firewalls or routers.
You will need to install SiteKiosk™ 6 or higher on the computer you want to monitor (the client machines) as well as Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 6 on the computer from which you want to monitor your machine network.
SiteKiosk™ (Version 6 or higher) already includes all functions you will need to communicate with the SiteRemote™ server. To register a machine with the server, simply use SiteKiosk's Configuration Wizard (under "Plug-Ins" -- "Remote Management"). After you have registered your machines, you will be able to monitor their status from your office or your home by opening and logging on to SiteRemote's Web application in your Internet browser.
SiteRemote Server Version
Managing your terminals using SiteRemote (http://www.siteremote.net/) could not be easier. In the course of the past ten months, more than 2,000 teams registered with SiteRemote.
