Hengstler is a leading manufacturer of thermal printers for kiosks, ATMs, automatic ticket dispensers, and other applications in the fields of banking, industry and commerce. Print widths range from 2 - 8.5 inches and paper weights from 60 to 200 g/m².
The Hengstler printer product line features a wide range of useful accessories, including presenters, cutters, bundlers and winding modules. One of Hengstler's particular strengths is the complete management of customer-specific application projects. We can provide effective and continuous support from the project planning and design phase right through to the finished product. Our core competence is your benefit.
Hengstler's history dates back over more than 150 years. At the beginning in 1846, the clock-maker Johannes Hengstler started the series production of gongs in the Swabian town of Aldingen in Germany. In the course of the following decades the foundation was laid for the comprehensive experience Hengstler has today with the production of counters, printers, cutters, relays and encoders.
In 1995, Hengstler became a member of the US corporation Danaher in Washington, DC. Danaher Corporation, a Fortune 500 company that is also an element of the Standard and Poor’s 500, regularly attains annual sales of several billion US dollars.

The HENGSTLER® X-56™ Thermal Printer with an integrated cutter is one of the most versatile printers around! Handling a paper width of 49-60 mm, the X-56™ printer prints at speeds up to 350 mm/second (13.7 pulgadas/segundo)!
An autocutter is standard, with versions that can cut up to 250 g/m² paper stock. The design includes an integral chute that protrudes from the front of your panel, making mounting and integration simple. An optional chute/jam sensor reports if there is paper in the chute and stops printing if it detects a paper jam.
The X-56 can be ordered with sleep mode, so it uses only microamps of current when not printing. This is important in remote, solar cell-charged
battery systems. An optional wide voltage range allows connection to almost any vehicle’s electrical system, while the X-56’s™ wide range of paper stock thicknesses makes it ideal for printing heavy tickets. A presenter is available where needed to prevent vandalism.
Ideally suited for Information Kiosks, Parking, Ticketing, Mobile Operation, Coupons, Receipts, Reverse Vending and Banking applications just to name a few of the many possible applications for the X-56™ Printer.

In addition to the commands found in most printers, the C-56 has some unique functions that give the designer much greater control over the printer and flexibility in its application. Most of these commands can also be executed through the C-56 Windows driver, making the C-56 one of the most versatile printers ever built!
The HENGSTLER® C-56™ printer will pull a 4 inch diameter paper roll from its integral paper tray to provide extended operation between refills. An extensive, powerful set of printer commands gives the C-56 unrivaled versatility! A single sensor detects “out of paper” and “paper low”. The HENGSTLER® C-56™ printer is the most cost-effective receipting solution you’ve ever encountered!

The HENGSTLER® Pluto 3 Thermal Statement Printer is the perfect printer for your statement printing application! Using 300 ppp resolution for maximum readability, the bundler on the Pluto 3 will assemble up to 10 pages and present them vertically at one time. A shutter on the bundler blocks the opening to prevent vandalism. The Pluto 3 will retract the printed sheets into a recycle area on command to protect confidential information.
Usually used with fanfold paper, the Pluto 3 will also accept roll paper. A thickness sensor monitors for fanfold sheets that are stuck together and stops the printer before a jam can develop. A pull sensor will automatically dispense the printed material when the user pulls on the bundle. A paper thickness sensing system detects excess thickness caused by multiple fanfold sheets sticking together and prevents resulting paper jam. The optional dual-feed unit allows use of two paper sources and changes between them automatically when exhausted or commanded.
It is the ideal solution for statement printing, but is also suitable for Information Kiosks, Ticketing, Transportation and Banking applications.
