All products manufactured by Cursor Controls use precision made Stainless Steel components
for the important ball running assembly and a combination of high grade stainless steel or
hardened steel bearings, specialist machined or moulded housings to produce the best
Trackerball solution.
In today's Cursor Control applications, the Trackerball provides a robust solution for
Industrial and Commercial applications. With an expected life considerably in excess of the
typical Mouse type product, the Trackerball has been developed for use in Factories, Medical,
Aircraft, Studio, Shipping and Military applications as the cursor controller for screen
based systems.
Many of the Cursor Controls products use components tested far beyond the expectation
of the product, and can endure some of the harshest operating demands experienced in
industry today.
Committed to the WorldWide Success of its Trackerball!
Special patented techniques are employed in the assembly of larger Trackerballs to
reduce noise and vibration in the operation of the product, increasing the performance and
feel of the Trackerball in the majority of installations.
Developed during the 1940s for military radar applications, the original Trackerball from The
Trackerball Company met the need for a high resolution, screen cursor controller. The highest
quality components and superior build standards provided reliable, long term operation in the
harshest of environments.
The ubiquitous computer mouse is a later development on the original pointing device design.
Today, this wealth of experience services the requirements of the industrial user, where the
advance of the PC on to the shop floor and the reliability of the modern trackerball have
banished the computer mouse from an increasing number of applications.
The modern range of Cursor Controls pointing devices are fully compatible with the latest
computer operating systems, may be sealed against contaminants to IP65 (NEMA 4) ingress
standard and easily mounted in a vertical or horizontal position to a panel or keyboard.

A unique patented variable pressure switch. Simply rotate the coloured top to increase or decrease the actuation force required. Use on a table top or mount on one of the many available mounting systems. This family of switches provides the option of setting the perfect operating force for any application.
The Headway is a head-pointing device that provides computer access via a small head mounted transmitter. Headway allows simple head movements in two axes to result in on-screen mouse emulation.
This exciting speech aid has been jointly developed by Penny & Giles Computer Products and Inclusive Technology. The unit has already been widely acclaimed by new users.
