NPI is a manufacturer and distributor of micro printer products for Kiosk, Point-of-Sale (POS),
ATM's and Ticketing Machines and was established in 1979 for the purpose of selling printers, electronic parts and equipment manufactured by Japan CBM Corp. and STAR Micronics Co., Ltd.
Later, NPI started business with Epson Sales Japan Corp., Seiko Instruments Inc., and other

In 1986, NPI also established Nichipri Industrial Inc. (NII) as the product development &
manufacturing department under the know-how and technology accumulated by the long experience
in the printer sales. NII, as an assembly maker, will respond to any requests by OEM customers
in order to meet their specification requirements.
At Nippon Primex Inc., customer satisfaction is always our first concern in the manufacturing and sale of industrial peripherals, especially with smaller sized printers. (Nippon Primex Inc. Contacts)

The ITK Series printers are designed to satisfy heavy duty printing applications.
These may include the generation of coupons, maps, lists, graphics, etc. It is the
Logical Choice for demanding, high usage kiosk applications.
Overcoming Difficult Challenges
Unattended kiosk environments present difficult challenges that have been overcome in
the ITK 23/24 Printer System. For example, printed documents are separated by an
integrated cutter and isolated from the user during the print cycle.
Printer operating status is continually reported back to the host OEM system over an interface using
standard printer protocols. Status information sent includes low paper, out of paper,
ticket taken, and various error conditions. All of these features are incorporated
into the ITK 23/24, which not only boasts a small footprint, but also has the
flexibility of accommodating a large paper supply.
Direct thermal
Print speed: Fast 3.1''/sec (80 mm / sec) under Windows
Paper width: 3.34'' (85mm) ITK 23 or 4.48'' (114mm)ITK 24
Large paper roll holder (8'' max)
Reverse channel status communication
Parallel or USB interface
Integrated cutter (300 K life)
Small footprint
Sensors: low paper, out of paper, ticket taken, & various error conditions
Optional Cutter with Output Protection Chamber
Optional Standard Loop Transport-Presenter with Cutter
The cLTx Series is a modular ticket printing system designed for easy integration into
an ATM (automatic ticket machine) kiosk. The cLTx consists of two modules: a printer
module and a power supply module.
The printer module combines a thermal print
mechanism, auto-cutter, and control electronics in a compact, lightweight package
suitable for fixed base or slide mounting. Operating power is provided by a universal
input power supply module. A four foot power interconnect cable allows the power
module to be placed in a remote location for overall simplified packaging.
Ticket Printing vs. Roll Paper Printing
The defining characteristics of a kiosk ticket printer are its ability to use heavy
ticket stock and a fast print speed. The cLTx uses .0075 inch thick fanfold and
perforated ticket stock. A typical 5.5 inch long ticket can be printed, cut and
ejected in approximately two seconds. These characteristics contrast with conventional
kiosk printers that are typically slower and designed to use thin paper packaged in
rolls.
Direct thermal technology for long life and low maintenance
Print Speed: 3.5''/sec (88.9 mm / sec) max.
Ticket width: 2'' (50.8mm) cLTx-2002 or 3.25'' (82.6mm) cLTx 2003
The ATX 38 is a direct thermal raster graphics printer designed for easy Kiosk integration.
The ATX 38 is the perfect choice for wide format, 6.5'' to 8.5'' printing in
unattended kiosk systems. Applications include information dispensing, statements,
government forms, educational registration, car rental forms, etc.
The most complete version of ATX 38 incorporates a cutter and loop presenter with
anti-jam protection/detection. The presenter extends only 2.3" yet allows long forms
to be stored in a loop below the print mechanism, thereby providing isolation from the
end user during the print cycle. Other versions of ATX 38 feature cutters only or
manual forms separation with a tearbar (lowest cost).
