EKN Announces Second Quarter Performance Milestone!
10 July, 2006 - Madrid, Spain -
The Euro Kiosks Network today released the Q2 Performance results for their Web Portal www.eurokiosks.org. Charles Porter, speaking in Madrid, was quick to focus on up coming opportunities and indicated that the performance trends in both the number of Pages Viewed on the EKN site and the number of Unique Users have been growing at an outstanding rate year over year since 2001. Porter pointed out that both indicators were up. Visits to the EKN Site were up 28% over the same period last year reaching a milestone goal of 100,302 Visits in the Second Quarter of 2006. We are most pleased that the Network received more Visits than in the First Quarter eclipsing the prior record performance of 95,329. While the number of Unique Users demonstrate continued growth year over year we were pleased with another record setting Quarterly with Monthly Unique Users tracked at 15,979 per month, Charles proudly reported!
Robert Porter based in Las Vegas, NV. USA, stated that it is critically important to have a third party handling all of our statistics and performance tracking. Hostway Hosting, an award winning hosting services provider has done an outstanding job of providing us with the proper tools that help us to track all our statistical data. There have been several improvements made to the EKN site in the Second Quarter, along with a focus on expanding and improving content. Our goal is to provide a productive experience for our visitors. We are continually working on requests for product support from people around the World every week which is much more gratifying than the statistics. I do not allude to the fact that performance trends are not important, they are, however they are only one of many Key Performance Indicators that we monitor every week throughout the year. Our site visitors are a unique mix of people from around the Globe coming to our Global Resource Center searching for products and services to fulfill their specific business requirements. We truly appreciate the opportunity to serve all of our Member Companies as well as helping our visitors to network with product suppliers.
Charles Porter spoke about the continued support that EKN is providing for the KioskCom Europe event coming up on 8-9 November, 2006 in London. We have developed a strong business relationship with IMP Events Group and are looking forward to an outstanding Event this Fall. It is very rewarding to see this type of performance as we work very hard every day, having only one focus, which is to meet the needs of our customers. The further we go the more we see, and while this Milestone was important, another is just right around the corner. Our forecast indicates that we will surpass the One Million Visitors mark sometime this fall.
