Bioscript range of Biometric Scanners!

25 June, 2005 -  Now supporting fingerprint capture using the Bioscript range of biometric scanners, CardFive Elite is a card design and database software designed for use with any security and ID plastic card printer. Fingerprints can easily be encoded onto a proximity (such as Mifare) card using the Bioscript fingerprint scanner and a plastic card printer with encoding capabilities.

By checking an individual's fingerprint against a stored image on a proximity card using one to one verification rather than checking the fingerprint against a large employee database in a one to many process dramatically speeds up access control and improves security measures significantly.

ID, security and access control cards can be quickly and easily designed in layout screens in CardFive Elite to include lines, boxes, images, text and barcodes, all of which can be linked to variable data sources and databases via ODBC/SQL. Magnetic stripes, contact smart cards and proximity cards can also be set up and processed in the same way. This simple to use database also features signature and photo capture facilities via Twain and Video for Windows.

CardFive Elite is protected by a smart card based security system that prevents the software being used if the card is not in the reader, and for added security also features user definable password protection.
