Working Solutions announces New Version of popular Acquire software!

21 November, 2005 -  Working Solutions announced today that they are to launch a new version of their popular Acquire software which is used to drive digital signage and interactive kiosks across the world. The current version of Acquire is installed in over 2000 outlets for retail, banking, information and travel uses. All existing customers will be offered a free upgrade to the new version.

Acquire 2.1 has a number of enhancements based on feedback from our present customers," says Working Solutions Managing Director, Neil Farr, "including the ability to more easily manage larger networks - the key is maintainability. Many other systems are OK with just a few remote players, but when more come online they become unwieldy and need too much work to operate successfully. Acquire makes this easy and so gives you time to use its other features such as demographic targeting or time-based scheduling." Working Solutions has a great deal of experience in running large in-store TV networks, much of which they claim is reflected in the new version of the software. "For retail chains we have added far more functionality and many more security features which means that Acquire 2.1 can be used for much more than advertising," says Farr.

With high street spending predicted to slow down over the next year, retailers are seeking ways to maximise consumer spending power. Farr believes that the enhanced Acquire software will give those retailers using it to power their in-store TV a significant advantage. "The ability to influence the consumer just before they purchase is a very useful tool - but being able to target consumers with such a high degree of sophistication and flexibility is unheard of until now," he added.

Working Solutions are based in the East Midlands, but work with retail stores and marketing firms across the UK, Europe and the world to deliver innovative interactive (touch screen) and digital signage solutions (in store TV). They work across many sectors including retail, leisure, entertainment and health. Acquire 2.1 has been undergoing extensive trials during 2005 but will be officially launched on Monday, November 28th, 2005.
