Other built-in features and functions of the GEN2 Universal printers include:
- ITH™ (Intelligent Ticket Handling), which makes the "cashout ticket" available ONLY after the ticket is fully printed internally and automatically burst
- ProMatrix couponing and trigger system features a dedicated promotional printing port, color printing capability and a standard 16 Mb chip onboard to implement a wide range of promotional campaigns at the game
- Expanded graphics memory, overlapping print regions and a wide variety of typefaces and sizes can be used to create and store a variety of sophisticated graphic elements and coupon templates
- Internal arbitration logic synchronizes information from the game controller and the promotional server to ensure that cash vouchers are always printed before promotional coupons.
As new game concepts emerge, FutureLogic strives to enable new technology by continually expanding printer functionality and flexibility. "FutureLogic is focused on the development and provisioning of new and innovative service offerings via our gaming hardware and software solutions," said Anthony DiMarco, president and CEO. "The new GEN2 Universal printer will provide the interoperability and ease of integration required for the next generation of electronic games."
