Hyatt Regency Hotels & Tourism (Hellas) SA Selects FutureLogic GEN2 as Standard Gaming Printer for Greek Casinos!

06 July, 2005, Glendale, CA., USA -  FutureLogic, Inc., the leading manufacturer of thermal ticket printers for cashless gaming, announced today that Hyatt Regency Hotels & Tourism (Hellas) SA through their casino brand Regency Casinos has selected FutureLogic's GEN2™ thermal ticket printer as the standard gaming printer for their Mont Parnes and Thessaloniki casinos in Greece. The agreement will also extend into new casino projects in development in Albania.

As operators of multi-revenue hotel and gaming centers in Athens and Thessaloniki, Hyatt Regency Hotels & Tourism (Hellas) SA has partnered with FutureLogic and IGT to create customized cashless solutions that fit their properties' specific needs. In addition to reducing labor costs and increasing play, Regency Casinos expects that the EZ-Pay cashless system and FutureLogics' advanced printing technology will help them further differentiate their properties.

"With the customized system, our casinos will be able to create targeted or triggered offers to patrons while they are playing the machine - in the form of promotional coupons," said Ian Gosling, Vice Chairman and COO, Hyatt Regency Hotels & Tourism (Hellas) SA. "In a multi-revenue center such as Regency Casino Mont Parnes or Regency Casino Thessaloniki, this proactive marketing capability benefits the patron as well as the hotel and casino operator."

The multi-function GEN2 printer enables proactive marketing functions on the casino floor by turning ordinary vouchers into colorful, eye-catching coupons. It also provides reliability features such as ITH™ (Intelligent Ticket Handling) technology to eliminate torn, smeared, or crumpled tickets, 50% more paper capacity than other printers, and a dedicated port for firmware upgrades.
