The system is part of the Streetwise project (a Euro Regional project involving the national road authorities of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) and was installed with the help of the Scottish Execuvite. ![]() The Opti-Wall on the ship ''Caledonian.'' Touchscreen is used to select your location.
The Opti-Wall unit sails on Stena Line's Caledonia between Stranraer and Belfast in the "Truckers' Lounge". The information is streamed from the NADICS, TrafficNI and other government websites giving up-to-date congestion and road works details allowing drivers to make informed choices about their routes when they arrive on shore.
