DED Launches High Volume Card Feeders for Eltron Printers!

Kiosk Integration, large volume Bureau Printing and high volume Ticket Issuing are just some
of the applications for which DED have developed the D310 and D420 series large capacity card
feeders for use with the Eltron P310 and P420 series of plastic card printers.
The high volume capacity feeders are supplied either in kit form - to accommodate
retro fitting to any printer - or as a complete Printer/Feeder package.
These complete units are supplied as a P310 monochrome or colour or P420 colour printer with
a 200 or 400 card feeder unit.
Options include a 3 track Hi/Lo-Co switchable magnetic encoder
and smart card contacts. For inside-kiosk applications, front or rear mountable extension
runners have been designed which allow the printer to be easily withdrawn for maintenance and
consumable changes.
In addition to the standard "out of cards" status returned to the host PC by the Windows
driver, the feeder unit also has an adjustable "card low" status, which can be monitored via
a separate RS232C port.
